» bjg9906 - Would you identify your child with a disability?

I find this topic to be hotly debated throughout the field of Special Education. There are people out there who would label/identify a child with very little evidence all the way to the opposite extreme whereby they refuse to identify a child with a disability, even when faced with extreme amounts of evidence.

What would you do? What are your beliefs and thoughts about this topic? Pros? Cons? Discuss it here, let's talk about it...
