Hi Greg,

Thanks for the great overview of ADHD and methylphenidate. Interesting that so many more boys than girls are given this drug. Makes you wonder if that old "boys will be boys" adage from years back was just a reflection of the fact that more boys than girls actually have ADHD and we just didn't know it.

Have you had any experience with parents "playing around" with these ADHD drugs? Occasionally I've had a parent withhold the drug on a given day to see if I "noticed" a difference in the child's behavior.
