» momto1girl4boys - where to put the patch

just wondering if anyone else got the go ahead from your doc to place the patch somewhere other than the hip. my son's skin irritation was just getting so bad. we took him in and his pediatrician prescribed a steroid cream to apply to his skin, and she said we could put the patch pretty much anywhere. it definately is not a permanent solution, but at least it gives his skin a little more time to heal between patches. she also said to prep his skin with eucerin, or aquaphor. i learned the first day of trying that, it's not a good idea! the patch will not stick when the lotion is on his skin... we are still very impressed with how well the patch is working, so i guess we'll take it day by day, and hope the manufacturer will eventually find the right balance.
